Installation of a MAINFURL in-boom furler on board a Hanse 545: slim and V-shaped, it was delivered with a high-quality fiberglass body, but it would have been possible to deliver it in carbon instead, two highly durable and lightweight materials guaranteeing very high strength.

The MAINFURL in-boom furler is state-of-the-art, with an innovative and intelligent in-boom furling system, in this case electric, but a manual system would have been conceivable, both of which can be operated from the cockpit for safe and easy handling.
